Defense Production Act Invoked For Flowbee

President Trump demonstrates Flowbee on Robert Kadelc

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, President Trump announced a change of heart and finally issued an order to invoke the Defense Production Act (DPA), but not for ventilators or PPE’s. Instead, the DPA will be used for mass production of the Flowbee – the home haircutting vacuum attachment first introduced in the 1980’s. “We can’t have the country walking around with bad hair, and I know a thing or two about that,” Trump stated at the last Coronavirus Task Force Briefing. The DPA enforcement specifically orders vacuum manufacturers Hoover and Bissell to start production of Flowbees within a week. President Trump demonstrated the Flowbee on Robert Kadlec, assistant secretary for preparedness and response for the Department of Health and Human Services. Trump further announced the production of three new infomercials in which he will star, in an attempt to boost sales.
